Wasteland Twinning was a network of artists and researchers who hijacked the concept of ‘City Twinning’, applying it to urban Wastelands in order to generate a network for parallel research and action. Together with Rebecca Beinart and Matthew Trivett, I worked with a wasteland near the centre of Nottingham, which was ‘twinned’ with wastelands in Berlin, Yogyakarta and Amsterdam.
